Sengkang Green Primary School - Growth Mindset talk for parents

On May 31st, we had the pleasure of addressing the parents of Sengkang Green Primary school. We thank the school for giving us the opportunity to share with the parents more about how they can support their children in their learning.

In addition to having a sufficient sleep and nutrition, parents were introduced to the concept of incremental theory of intelligence.

The main takeaway was that parents and teachers could collaborate to speak the same "language of growth". In other words, parents and teachers encourage the children to embrace mistakes as a stepping stone to self-improvement.

We congratulate Sengkang Green Primary for having a progressive approach to working with parents. Their efforts in developing growth mindsets in their students will be enhanced when parents walk the same talk.
